2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for the following purposes:
- Providing the service: To set up and operate your AI assistant, build your website, and configure your business tools
- Building your website: To design a website that accurately represents your business
- AI processing: To enable your AI assistant to handle customer inquiries, bookings, invoices, and other business communications on your behalf
- Notifications: To send you service notifications, billing reminders, and important updates about your account
- Improvement: To improve the Teddy AI platform, fix bugs, and develop new features (using aggregated, anonymised data only)
- Support: To assist you when you contact us for help
3. AI Data Processing
๐ Your AI assistant processes business communications (emails, messages, customer inquiries) to provide its service. This data stays on your dedicated server in Australia. It is not used to train AI models or shared with other clients.
Key details about how the AI handles your data:
- Your AI assistant runs on a dedicated server โ not shared with other clients
- All data is processed and stored in the Sydney AWS region (ap-southeast-2), Australia
- The AI uses your business data solely to provide its service to you
- We do not use your business data to train general AI models
- AI conversation logs are retained on your server for your reference and can be exported or deleted upon request
4. No Selling of Data
We will never sell your personal information or business data to third parties. This is a core commitment, not just a legal requirement.
5. Cookies & Tracking
We use minimal cookies:
- Authentication session cookie: Required to keep you logged in to the Teddy AI dashboard
- We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies
- No data is shared with ad networks

7. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Teddy AI:
- Stripe (stripe.com) โ Payment processing. Stripe handles all card data under their own PCI-DSS compliant privacy policy. We never see or store your card numbers.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) (aws.amazon.com) โ Server hosting. Your dedicated server runs in the Sydney region (ap-southeast-2), Australia.
- Telegram (telegram.org) โ Messaging platform for AI assistant interactions. Messages are processed via Telegram's API and stored on your dedicated server.
- Supabase (supabase.com) โ Authentication and database for the Teddy AI dashboard.
Each third-party service is subject to their own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.
8. Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) Compliance
TCS complies with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Key aspects:
- APP 1 โ Open & transparent: This policy describes our data practices clearly
- APP 3 โ Collection: We only collect information necessary to provide the service
- APP 5 โ Notification: We inform you at or before the time of collection
- APP 6 โ Use & disclosure: We use data only for its stated purpose

9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data โ request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data โ let us know and we'll update it promptly
- Export your data โ request a copy of your AI conversation logs, website files, and business data
- Delete your data โ request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Withdraw consent โ opt out of non-essential communications at any time
10. Data Security
We protect your data with:
- SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit
- Encrypted storage on dedicated AWS servers
- Access controls limiting who can access your server
- Regular security updates and monitoring
- Stripe PCI-DSS compliance for payment data
While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you promptly in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Teddy AI dashboard. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was most recently revised.
